Our research interest lies in designing and developing new functional materials through the assembly of nanoscale systems. We aim to improve material performance in aggressive biological environments, including\u00a0microbial corrosion, biofilm proliferation, biocorrosion, and bioelectricity generation.<\/p>\n<p>Since its inception in 2016, the Nanobiomaterials Lab has integrated students and researchers with diverse backgrounds, including biology, biochemistry, physics, biotechnology, and engineering.
